Hi, 

I am Cheryl and the founding owner of Tradie Aide. With over 20 years of experience in administration roles in the refrigeration industry, it was a natural progression for me to continue along this path in my own business. 

In the last several years I have worked as a hotel manager and always found myself chatting with many different tradies at the bar. Common feelings I would hear included “ I am flat out and don’t have time scratch my bum” or “I can’t even get time to take a holiday.” 

When Covid hit in March of 2020, I like many others was given the time to reassess what was important to me. Having a healthy work-life balance was vital. I took the opportunity to start my own business in the hope of giving others that work-life balance that I also craved. 

I love to learn, no matter what I am currently focused on in my business I am always looking ahead and up skilling myself. Not only to benefit my business but to also pass on my knowledge onto my clients. I recently completed a partnership course with ServiceM8 and now I am working through a Certificate IV in bookkeeping. 

I see Tradie Aide as a well-rounded support system for tradies needing to outsource tasks such as administration, accounts, social media and anything that can give them back some quality spare time. 

I am currently planning ways I can give back to the Virtual Assistant industry who guided and supported me on my journey. Once again it will be a learning experience for me but I am very excited about the end results.
